With so much technology and offers so many out there, every time is a little difficult to distinguish good deals from bad ones. Each company has its first generation, Also, every company wants to milk his investment at face value – that led to the infamous second (or third, or fourth or fifth …) the point of generation.

But the good news is that there are always differences, and if a customer is willing to do a little research, these differences can contribute dramatically to compensate the mind of a potential buyer. Take the first generation iPhone and the new iPhone 3G, at first glance seem like remarkable. In fact, the average passers even may notice a difference at all! But a closer inspection reveals quite striking – and unexpected – contrasts.

The most notable difference is the introduction 3G network. While the iPhone 3G still has the capability of EDGE, the 3G network is usually twice as fast (though sometimes not available). It also sports A new GPS system that can track the exact location of the user (and can even send that information to third party applications).

Secondly, the backplates. While the original iPhone had a uniform color (silver) and that ugly black antenna, the iPhone 3G comes in your choice of white or black – and the plate back is one piece, too. In the first generation, aluminum is the material of choice but out of 3G to the aluminum was replaced by plastic, making 3G more than zero (and damage) resistant.

The cells, substantial changes also have suffered, from a 1400 mAh standard iPhone in 1150 mAh one in 3G. In conjunction with this, the battery was originally welded right to the device, but in the last generation, simply is connected to he. Since all new applications for 3G, this battery does not have a reputation of being the longest.

The LCD has also been improved for a new model. While the original version had a hand, 3G has introduced a separation of these parts, the creation of an outer glass and the screen itself — which is good news that one of them ever break (not only is it cheaper to repair or replace, it is also easier).

Also may mention that 3G sports a new conical framework (making it thicker at the center than at the edges) – which in turn makes it a more comfortable fit for any hand. The 3G also has a tendency to crack spider, though, so beware! It is fully compatible and works with any application for original iPhone. It also displays the serial number right there on the tray for easy identification.
