I have been in locations where the company is very particular about what they can do for your workspace. Whether for reasons of aesthetics or the likelihood of damage to surfaces, as employees have an obligation to adhere to company rules.

With most traditional methods of decoration there is the potential to cause damage. The tape has a tendency to lift the painting, poster-tac can leave oily residue or paint lift, leave holes and pins on the walls ugly.

Here are some alternative ideas for personalizing your workspace.

1. Use magnets to wear a binder. It could be a magnet I remember your last vacation, or just something that you like the look of the local store. My favorite option is to use a set of magnetic words, called poetry magnetic. These are brilliant for a writer or anyone who likes to play with words. The magnets also create interesting changing exhibits on slates. Do not place magnets on your computer or other electronic equipment.

A friend of mine once worked in an area with an ugly metal beam from floor to ceiling. Created a perfect canvas for a large magnet collection that was much more interesting and colorful sight.

2. Photographs – a classic picture in a frame is always a good choice for a work space. However, if your desk is not enough space, do not despair. An old magnet magnet or adhesive strips purchased from a craft store can be attached to the back. Then simply 'hang' in a filing cabinet. Moreover, replacement adhesive velcro whish is around for the magnet. This will keep the image very well in any of the cloth covered partitions used in some offices. If you do not want to damage the photo, stick the magnet or velcro in a picture frame of light instead.

3. Paintings made by children or small beads may be attached to fabric partitions with a sewing needle.

4. A cactus is an excellent way to bring a natural element to your office. Preferring the heat and require little water are perhaps the safest plants to be about documents and electronic equipment. Many shapes and sizes, including some flowers that are available for little money.

5. Turn your computer into part of your decor. Choose a wallpaper and screen saver to complement your personality. If permitted, family photos or vacation can be downloaded to your hard drive for a presentation truly personalized slide. A trinket or toy can sit above the CPU on your computer, provided it does not obscure any outlet.

6. Decorate its office space offers many opportunities for people with crafty inclinations. Combine the love of doing things one needs usually requires a desktop for satisfactory resolution. Make your own pen holder, card holder of the business, or other useful desktop utility. Cardboard, paper mache, small cardboard tubes and clean, glass containers can be transformed into all containers by hand. Decorate with paint, stickers, interesting articles, or anything else that resources for something that is both functional and unique. The Internet offers a wealth of project ideas, including instructions and suggested materials.

You can create a space custom work, without compromising the surfaces. The first priority is to find out the regulations of the company as to what is acceptable. Then, with guidelines in hand, there is a way to beautify any area safely.

Work spaces should not be an impersonal part of our lives. We spent much time there, so why Why not arrange a little with our personal style.
