Jewelry Case Storage/
/Do I have a case?

Hello, This past Thursday was illegally evicted from my apartment. Late fees that I owed a total of only $ 1000. I never received a notice from my landlord to court and planned to pay the balance on Friday. My mother had stopped and saw they started to take my things. There was no sheriff there. The maintenance team apt to pack my things. Several of my articles were taken by them before they started throwing my things. Widgets DVD TV's, DVD's. my daughters dresser with all his clothes in it. my dining table and chairs, my makeup kit and most of my coats and jackets. Also jewelry and all my business documents (birth certificate, checkbook, receipts for rent) are missing. My upstairs neighbor said she saw one of the boys to carry maint my TV out before starting the eviction. I also have a picture of my dining set in maint. storage, which used to return. The owner couldnt Show a warning eviction when I went to the office. Is it legal to have grounds to sue them?

The second who were evacuated should have gone to court and requested a hearing pop called an Order to Show Cause. Would have granted immediate re-entry with the help of the police, and people who had or remove the material would have been arrested in the act for stealing If for some chance they did go to court and done correctly and never just received the notice, the judge would have to reschedule the matter to be heard; your employee has notified the owner of the new hearing date and put a "stay" on the eviction before. You must be yourself to a lawyer in this time. Tell them you were the victim of a self-help eviction. You may have to pay a consultation fee, but that's all. The rest of the fees out of settlement. It's easy money for a lawyer because an owner who has a self-help eviction is 100% evil and 100% liable for actual (the cost of your things, a new place, etc.) and punishment (the trauma of the event) damages under the law. No more wasted time. Get a lawyer now, and ensure that specialize in the owner / Tenant issues.
