Wide Slot Storage/
/Storage of television series films?

I have a growing DVD collection and am looking for a way to save storage space. I found film storage racks that serve the purpose of storing my dvds single film, however, most of my collection DVDs are the seasons of my favorite TV shows and slots of the racks are not wide enough for them. Does anyone have any creative suggestions to store my movies on TV? Thanks

Originally only used one of the media racks you can buy from Frys, Best Buy, etc. They have various shapes and sizes, but they are basically like small bookshelves that are designed to hold CDs, DVDs or tapes VHS. Those who had were about 3 feet in height, and uses a series of 3 bars for each "platform" (4 shelves total). It also includes some shelf dividers that squeezed into the bars. They were about $ 30 each and each unit has a capacity of about 250 cases of DVDs. Another idea we had was simply use standard shelves, then get some small boxes of DVD cases. These can be found at Walmart, Target, etc. and are about $ 5.10 per box. Each box should contain about 25 single-disc cases. Whatever you decide on, choose something that will keep vertical disks. You not only want to stack them on top of each other as the added weight of the cases at the top can cause the disks to be deformed.
