If you have decided to go traditional and ladylove bearing roses this Valentine's Day, consider the different colors and the meanings they convey.

Red roses are also known as Valentine's roses, and usually are for lovers, but also close family members can give red roses. Unless 're in love with your friend, do not give red roses to her.

Red Roses

The red roses to the other person saying "I love you in a romantic sense. A red rose is an enduring symbol of love and passion. Not surprisingly, red roses are most in demand in February, which makes them especially expensive in the day Valentine's Day. Here is a list of roses of colors and their meanings.

Rosas Blancas A pure white rose is a symbol of truth and innocence. Also send these messages to another person: "I miss you" and "You're divine."

Lilac and Purple Roses

If you love has fallen at first sight and have become basically happy, send the other person a bouquet of pink roses, lilac or purple.

Coral and Orange Roses

If someone sends coral roses, which only means one thing: that the desire for another person. If they are lesbian or bisexual, but to send your girlfriend a rose, not always send coral roses, otherwise it could be misunderstood. Send yellow roses instead.

Yellow Roses

Yellow roses have a platonic sense, and only send their friends.

The modern celebration of Valentine's Day can be traced as far back as the 1840s. The writer Leigh, Eric Schmidt, published an article in the American monthly magazine in 1849 in which he observed that "… Valentine's Day is becoming even more, has become a national holiday.

The practice of sending Valentine cards became popular in England before it became popular in the United States; Esther Howland of Worcester, Massachusetts – whose father operated a large book and stationery – was the first person to mass produce cards. Howland was inspired by an English Valentine Note that I had received. Every year since 2001, the Greeting Card Association gives the "Esther Howland Award Greeting Card Visionary "in honor of the first mass U.S. producer of greeting cards.

Estimates by the U.S. Greeting Card Association makes it clear that a whopping one billion valentines are sent each year worldwide, exceeded only by the volume of greeting cards sent at Christmas. It is estimated that 85% of all Valentine cards are sent by women.
