Tray Black Velvet/
/Need to find a velvet lining that go into jewelry boxes, the drawer liners.?

I bought an old machinist chest a couple of months ago. I do refinishing is a jewelry box. I have some black velvet peel and stick material from my mother, but she is not sure where it came from. The material is supposed to aid in the polishing, but mainly I need to cover the bottom of each drawer. I've been looking online but can not find anything, but before the trays. That velvet sticker is exactly what I'm looking for! However, it would be nice to find a low cost. Would need at least 4 of the leaves, and I've put a lot of money on this project.

Preformed trays are a way to line a jewelry box. "Flocking" is another way. This method produces a suede like texture coating. Rockler.com however, velvet has a pressure sensitive, and perhaps felt, that can be used for drawers line and the chest, with. http://www.rockler.com/search_results.cfm?filter=velvet (Actually, Rockler also carries equipment and tools go, hehe .. but I think in this case you want to keep the velvet material.) May also be able to find a similar product at a local craft store or fabric store. Have Fun
