Therapy Titanium/
/Has anyone had a shoulder resurfacing, Copeland procedure, implant Hemiarthioplasty successfully?

I have 37 and 5 weeks had a shoulder resurfacing put a layer of titanium cobalt in the top of my humerus bone. Now go through physical therapy and regain range of motion. I have not started work force yet, but I stopped at my PT session half a day while I was working with him in the ROM. He said he felt like if my shoulder is moved as if linked by marriage. In other words, a pop, while the arm moves in the lateral plane. He instructed me to see my MD immediately. There is the pain and worry. Is my PT being overly cautious or is there something went wrong with my progress. Any advice or experience is appreciated. Also, I was very active before the surgery and I would get my business when I'm fully recovered.

I had a total shoulder replacement otherwise. You get your ROM back, just takes time. I would listen to the PT and consult your doctor. He was only 37 and there is no reason for him to be too careful, it must compel to drive. Sounds like he's trying to say there might be a problem. Since he is not an MD who often do not dare to come out and say "Hey, something is fucked in your arm. "If you're serious about getting your full range of motion back, make the appointment.
