The style became popular small sword for the first cold steel in 1980.

Knife enthusiasts have fallen in love Both knives for many years. This is due to its super thick reinforced tip.

In 2007, Cold Steel revived after checking with the knife GI Classic Both fixed blade.

I recently picked up a GI Both mine, and here are my thoughts:

What I like:

1. Both The GI is a solid piece of carbon steel 1055. This steel is characterized by its hardness and the edge of the operating capability.

The handle is wrapped with wire ParĂ¡. This feature gives the knife a tactical look and feel you have to keep appreciating.

2. With a suggested retail value $ 30, The GI is both an incredible deal for money.

3. Its hollow ground blade has an edge thin enough to make razor thin slices, but thick enough to support almost any evidence of torture.

4. The protector is also made of carbon steel 1055. This gives you much protection from cutting your fingers on the blade.

What I liked:

1. The cutting edge was not as sharp as most cold steel knives. My shark samurai could to put a sharp edge on both GI razor almost instantly.

2. The cover of sanity might be a little tougher. For $ 20 I can not complain too much well.

Overall:

Both Cold Steel GI is one of the best deals of 2008. For the asking price, you really can not go TOUGH wrong with a knife.
