How has the Valentine's Day is a fascinating history. In the early days of the Romans, the Roman festival of Lupercalia was a celebration pagan fertility on 14 February in honor of the Queen of Oman known as Juno, the Roman gods and goddesses and the goddess of marriage and women. The story says that Valentine sent a letter to a friend who was signed "From your Valentine "just before his execution on February 14 in 270 AD In 496 AD, in honor of St. Valentine as the patron saint of lovers, Pope Gelasius named Valentine's Day Feb. 14. Since that time, people around the world have been celebrating Valentine's Day.
