/What size diamonds are used in an open setting?

I am looking for a chain of events and wanted to know what size diamonds were used in an establishment to prepare, as they are small and generally inexpensive.

Pavé – a term derived from the French word for the paving of a street, in this case, the paving of a surface with small diamonds. Pave is the technique for establishing small diamonds so closely resemble a continuous surface of diamonds. Pave is often used as an accent around a larger stone or a large surface providing a continuous sparkling design that covers the metal underneath. One option is to simply open a setting with precious stones, so closely is not shown metal. So the number of stones or diamonds can vary. There is also the term: Micro-Pave settings (even less).
