/What should I do with my navel ring while I'm pregnant?

I have my navel ring about 7 years ago, for what is right set to say the least. Right now I'm almost 22 weeks pregnant and my belly is starting to stretch, but I know that often become pregnant belly "outie" and this does not work so well with the ring. In addition, most doctors require that all jewelry be removed by the birth, so he has to leave sometime. Currently, the hole does not hurt (only bite occasionally), but I heard that the rings can become very uncomfortable later in pregnancy. I fear that if I take it out, because my belly stretching the hole will be huge (though perhaps this could happen if he left too). Is there anyway to prevent this happen? Best: I like to keep the hole until after pregnancy, but I'd rather lose the hole (and repierce later) tended to have a huge ugly hole.

I took mine out around 10 weeks (I'm 36 weeks now). I was only about 2-3 years, so I have no idea if it will continue traded or not. My doctor told me that a lot of women who leave to an end with a broad right of streaks through it. The jewelry can also get expelled through the skin, which is to be both incredibly painful and not very pretty. navel has not completely turned upside down, and I think it's because the scar tissue in drilling is / was. The hole has not yet spread – has kind of flattened. If you think of drilling as a straw, only seems to be tore down and flat, rather than as a tube. It appears that there may be closed, but I can tell. All we can see is a small line about 1 / 4 inch long over my navel. The surrounding skin is also slightly darker and redder than the rest of my stomach, but its not really noticeable. I think that's just the scar tissue drilling. He had just removed. Since I've had for so long that probably will not close, and then not have to worry about stretching or tearing or getting stuck.
