Jewelry Art/
/What can you tell me about my jewelry art nouveau?

I bought two pieces of modernist jewelry art at auction this weekend. One is a kind of tie collar, the other is a large pendant with two sureties in the back. I would like to know more about them. I can not seem to find anything online similar. Both are hallmarked with 925 and what looks like a lion in a square. These are the links to the auction website with lots: The first is in the top left. It is oval and looks like two birds. It also has two stones in it. She looks like a tie and has a lapis lazuli stone in it. Http: / / www.seymourauctions.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=23977&papass=&sort=1&thecat=64

925 refers to sterling silver purity – here indicating silver purity of 925 thousandths or 92.5% silver content. As for the mark of the lion, says he made the pieces: compare the appearance of your lion with those mentioned in http://www.silvercollection.it/englishsilvermarksXJTRE.html Thanks for writing about the necklace tie-type – I enjoyed watching the floor and find out about Louis 1V lover of which derived its name. You probably know all about it, but here's the link for anyone interested http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duchesse_de_la_Valli% C3% A8re # Mistress
