How can I clean a textured white gold wedding ring?

I want to shine a little, can I use a product to keep the house? I do not want damage or ruin the texture color. An experienced answer please.

A few drops of liquid detergent (eg Dawn) and about an ounce ammonia in a cup of water. Mix well. Let the ring soak for several hours or overnight and then use a soft toothbrush to clean the grooves, dipped in the solution. Rinse well and dry. It should spark. This solution also works well in gemstones.
