What is the best way to sell silver and jewelry?

I have inherited several things that I do not want and wonder what is the best way to sell them. I'm in Sydney. I have two silver tea sets (cream, sugar, tea, coffee), a lot of silverware varied, but some damaged and not complete sets, rings, silver napkins, silver glasses, silver cocktail shakers and ash tray, a gold cigarette case (slightly flattened), a jewel encrusted gold watch ladies "pocket, one silver and diamond cross pendant, two gold brooches and precious stones. I tried the auction houses of jewelry, but they are large / enough valuable to them and can not find anything useful on eBay. Any advice on dealers websites and / or use would be greatly appreciated.
